ICY IN THE RIVER VALLEY

Pretty icy in the River Valley this morning.
Sweetie had to work to get turned around in the driveway
I stayed in the grass and used my umbrella as a walking stick to go get the newspaper.
Someone said the freeze might reduce next summers flea and tick population; also a certain borer that has been damaging trees.   (Up side!)

BIRTHDAY COOKIE DAY

Everyone should get to decorate their own cookie on their birthday.

FLASHBACK TO WARMER DAYS

Last summer we celebrated our 45th anniversary.
Celebrations seem to always involve food.

WINTER WEATHER

  Before the next round of bad weather, the governor has already declared a state of disaster.  Something to do with authorizing trucks to haul propane to keep from having a shortage of heating fuel.

   Weather wise, the up side to this time of year is that each day our daylight time will grow by at least one minute. It helps ones feelings anyway.
