FALL WEATHER MAKES ME WANNA BLOG!
Going for morning run/walks in this weather is very uplifting. Everything that hit my senses made me want to write it down in a blog. Then when I get home, I get busy with other things and the mood passes. I am definitely going to get a micro-recorder. The only thing about that is all the other things I carry on my runs. (Stopwatch, cell phone, pepper spray).
This week when it was a very cool 50 degrees, I was in my shorts and t-shirt. The campers were stirring and retired couples going on their morning walks, hand in hand wearing winter coats.
Yesterday I saw my first monarch butterfly of the season. I saw about 4 all together. They seemed small. Hopefully there will be more migrating this week.
Word Picture: While leaving the jogging trail, a man was stretching and flexing his legs getting ready to hit the trail -- all the while dangling a cigarette in his mouth!
In the month of September, I ran 60 miles (actually walked about 8 of those miles). I've run everyday this week, and right now my legs feel like mush.
