I tried to identify this bird trying to make a nest in our Martin box.  My best guess was an Arkansas Kingbird.

This two year old purple clematis finally bloomed.  It has continued to bloom in spite of the hot weather.

This sweetheart thought he looked mean in this photo!

Marty was proud of his cousin's performance at the school program.

APRIL AND EASTER

Since it was going to be hard to get everyone together Easter Sunday, we decided on a picnic at the ball park Saturday in between Jason's games.  We really enjoyed it.  The grilled burgers and brats were delicious.  The traditional Easter pinata was a "hit" as usual with the kids.  I think the Martman was the one to finally bust it.  Even though they weren't dressed in their Easter outfits, I'm glad we got pictures anyway.
